Listening is all about your practice.The strategies you adopt & weaknesses you find out plays crucial role to attained your desire band score.
You need quiet place to practice.The place free of distraction so you set your timetable at least practice two tests.If you have intention to registered yourself for Computer Bases Test so my advice is to start practicing from day 1st to only practice on computer based test as it is quite different because you don't get enough time to read as you usually get in the starting of every session in the paper based test.You have to break down the minutes into seconds to read every question and the time seems to be fly during the whole test.When you pay hefty fees for the exam so its really embarassing if you wouldnot be able to achieve the traget.Be patient give yourself enough time to practice and gradually evaluate you weak points and do self correction and reassement several times before appearing for the real exam as it is not the wise decision to loose your money several time without evaluating well nobody in the whole world will be able to prepare you for the test as all training and preparation centres are just completing sessions they never care for your time and money.
The environment plays an important role to develop your listening skill.Sometimes you do practice a lot but still need time to pick up the words and understanding the meaning.The Computer Based is too fast at the same time you have to focus on the keyboard keys,spelling and grammar.Patience is the key to success and achieved your goal.I performed two online tests before going to AEO and both test shows that I have band 8 but in real exam you have to face the issue if you are living away from the center in Karachi hectic traffic your time is consumed to reach at your destination.If you take time for Speaking test before listening test and your speaking test not upto your expectations so it also give you stress as you were not expecting for the questions or the questions they have asked you were unique.Exam is exam and not necessarily if you have an outstanding English you will have an amzaing result.IELTS really give me tough time as I am not working in Multinational and switching me from Urdu to English and English to Urdu was not pleasant as Google Translator.I used to listened BBC English news and podcast during my work hours and it helps to overcome me from the barrier of working environment syndrome.

DeleteIt is the new terminology I research by own to reduce the dilemma of my life and it means when you are supposed to be work in the working environment that is not up to your standards but you are forced to work here because you want pay check at the end or beginning of the month to full fill your expenses.You are creative enough but not working in the field that is your were supposed to perform excellence level.Please it does not mean you are desperate or negative minded.It really means you like big change in life.
