 The number of people working online from home has grown in some countries. Discuss advantages and disadvantages of this trend?

The trend of freelancing has been increasing day by day in developing and under developing countries. In this essay I will discuss the pros and cons of this trend.

Firstly, the benefits of working online from home is the flexible work-hour schedule. The person can choose his working hours according to their person preferences and personality traits. The house wives can choose the timings after performing all the household tasks or when she is free to work. The teenagers who are active in night due to their studies or attend the parties in night it impacts on their performance level so they feel lethargic and less attentive in the morning timings so if they work online they can choose the working timings according to their personal choice whereas those employees who works in the company, their usual working hours are 9 am to 5 pm so they have to be observant during the working hours whether the attending of the wedding of the closest cousins’ impact on their effectiveness usually the company expect them to be at work.

Secondly, the companies bid the online projects on the seasonal basis and they hire employees for short time period they do not guarantee long term stability so the source of income to fulfill the fixed expenses are uncertain where as conventional companies usually hire the employees on the contract basis in the UK and the Dubai so they have peace of mind that they are able to full fill their fixed expenses at least for two years as well they can file their financial statement at the time of getting the visas so the future prospects are more for the full time company employees.

Thirdly, the online workers enjoy their life more than company employees as the leave are scheduled according to their personal desire whereas company employees leave sanctioned by the management so the chances to get approval according to their desire is less.

Moreover, the online work can bid according to their skill sets. A person possesses more than one skills at a time as the intelligence, interest, hobbies of a person can differ from his professional job title so the online work provide them versatility and better exposure according to their interest rather than the full time job where the job description are designed according to the management requirement.

In short there is some advantages and disadvantages of online working so we feasibly will not evaluate it as it depends totally on the personal choice and circumstances.
